Sally Bag Pattern is a course that will help you create a crocheted bag with a very trendy shape. The bag is simple to make, yet very eye-catching thanks to its original, chunky handle. The shape resembles a hobo-style bag. After creating the Sally bag, you’ll gain the basic knowledge to make other crochet bags of this type. This is a detailed step-by-step instruction on how to make it, with many references explaining how things work and how you can adjust each element to your preferences. This course is designed for intermediate crocheters, but a highly engaged and motivated beginner will also manage, since the bag is made using the simplest crochet method – half double crochet stitches. The course is in PDF format and includes detailed descriptions, photos, a graphic pattern, and a detailed video tutorial showing every stage of making the bag.
The course includes a bonus with detailed instructions on how to make the Sally bag in the Teddy version (more advanced level).
The course also covers many basic topics (such as making half double crochet stitches or single crochet stitches), as well as more advanced techniques, like joining half double crochet stitches in rounds in two ways or seaming two elements together using a crochet hook. The round-joining techniques presented were developed by me to be almost invisible, and you get ready-to-use knowledge that you can always apply in your projects.
I’ve included my numerous original methods in the course, based on years of experience making bags for thousands of customers, such as my original method of working with two strands. If t-shirt yarn gives you too “soft” a result, and working with two strands at once gives too “chunky” a result, my method might be perfect for you! 🙂
In addition to the crochet part of the bag, the course also explains how to make a lining with a pocket inside the bag, and importantly, in a very simple and quick way. The lining requires very few seams, so you can easily sew it by hand (I made it myself without using a machine). What’s more, the course also shows how to attach a magnetic closure directly to the bag – in an invisible and neat way.
This is truly a wealth of knowledge I’ve gained over the years, and you get it ready-made! Additionally, the course includes the following discount codes:
- 7% discount on the entire assortment in the Pimotki store
With this course, you’ll learn techniques such as:
